• 1:30 - 2:00 pm | Arrival for performers in opening scene that need to get into costume and be ready for 2:00pm rehearsal

• 2:00 - 2:45 pm | Opening Scene - All Party Guests (Adult Waltz, All Party Guests; Clara, Nutcracker, Drosselmeyer, Childrens Party Polka, Young party guests, Fritz & Friends, Clara's Friends, Harlequin Dolls, Little Mice, Drosselmyers Nephew, Maids, Butler)

• 2:45 - 3:00 pm | Bow - The Bow starts at 2:45 p.m. and includes the following: performers: (Adult Waltz, Caleb Joudrey, Silas Joudrey, Cielle Scott, Aveline MacQuarrie, Clara, Nutcracker, and Drosselmeyer, Snow Queen, Mouse Queen,Soldier (Lola Vardy), Mouse (Kira Vaskiv) Reindeer, , Harlequin Dolls

Tech Rehearsal & Performance Schedule

Friday, December 12th — Festival Theatre (Wolfville)

Act 1 Performers Only

No makeup required for Friday’s tech rehearsal.

Please bring water and snacks.

Performers only in Act 2 are welcome to watch but attendance is optional.

• 4:00 PM – Theatre opens for rehearsal setup

• 4:30 PM – Act 1 performers arrive; go to assigned dressing rooms and change into costumes

• 4:30 PM – Angels rehearsal (not in costume): formations, lineup, and stage entrance instructions

• 4:45 PM – Soldier practice cannon firing; Mice rehearse moving chaise

• 5:00 PM - Snowflakes and Snow queens (Do not need to be in costume), Drosselmeyer and Big Mice practice Land of Snow transition,

• 5:15 PM – Reindeer rehearse entrance with sled carrying Nutcracker and Clara

• 5:30 PM – “Mice in Training”, reindeer, and other mice (except Mouse Queen) rehearse entrance, dance, and exit.

• 5:45 PM – Review spotlights for fritz and Harlequin Dolls

• 5:50 PM - Full Act 1 tech. rehearsal

Saturday, December 13th —

Festival Theatre

All Performers (Acts 1 & 2)

Please arrive with stage makeup already applied.

Rehearsal end time is flexible due to possible technical adjustments—thank you for your patience.

• 10:00 AM – Arrive and change into costumes in assigned dressing rooms.

• 10:15 AM - Pre-show Waltz practice - Rodney Morrison, Colette Nap, Adrien Walsh, Diana Walsh, Kimberley Weir, Bram deGeus,

• 11:00 AM – Full Dress Rehearsal begins

• Post Rehearsal – Pizza provided by Boston Pizza. Parents may send peanut-free snacks. Gluten-free pizza available upon request. Please remove costumes before eating.

• 5:30 PM – Call time for evening performance; change into costumes

• 6:30 PM – Opening night performance!

• All performers (except “Mice in Training”) remain backstage until the grand finale and final bow.

Sunday, December 14th —

Festival Theatre

Performers must arrive with full stage makeup including foundation, blush, mascara, lipstick, black eyeliner, and shadow.

• 1:00 PM – Arrive and change into costumes

• 2:00 PM – Performance begins
