Dress Up Week Recap!

A huge thank you to our students, families, and teachers for making Dress Up Week such a memorable celebration! Your enthusiasm and creativity truly made it a success, reminding us all how special it is to celebrate our love for dance together in such a joyful and colorful way.

What a fantastic week it was! Our dancers lit up the studio with their fun and creative costumes, each class bursting with laughter, imagination, and festive spirit. From tiny ballerinas to spooky creatures and superheroes, everyone brought their best energy to the floor and made the studio come alive with excitement.

Cadance Academy’s Nutcracker Returns: An Interactive Holiday Tradition for the Whole Family

This December, Cadance Academy invites audiences to step into a world of beautiful music by Tchaikovsky and holiday magic as it presents its beloved annual production of The Nutcracker at the Festival Theatre in Wolfville.

Every year, we hold a special draw featuring a gift basket filled with wonderful local treasures to delight and inspire. All proceeds go directly to providing dance bursaries to talented young dancers who need your help.

We know that sponsoring the show might not be possible for everyone, and that’s okay! If you have a beautiful or unique item to donate, it can make a big difference. Your generous contribution will be proudly acknowledged alongside other items in the basket, letting everyone know who helped make this possible.

Week 1 of our K-Pop Demon Hunter Dance Party was an absolute success! Our dancers brought amazing energy, stunning moves, and incredible style , especially during Dress/Costume Week. Everyone looked and danced like true Demon Hunters!

Alyssia Salmon

Alyssia from Little Stars Ballet loves to twirl and still talks about how much fun she had being a little mouse last year! She’s been working so hard this month, improving her turnout and pointed feet — even her skips are getting better every week. Alyssia’s dedication, kindness, and willingness to help her friends make her such a joy to have in class.
