February is still deep in winter, and many of us are ready to leave the snow and ice behind and start dreaming about the warmer months ahead. That’s why, for one special week, we bring a taste of summer into our dance classes. We dress in bright summer outfits, play with beach balls, and enjoy refreshing popsicles. It’s also the perfect time to share details about the dance camps we’ll be offering this summer as well as some exciting early bird promotions.

We’ve already been chatting with dancers about the themes they’re excited for this year. Some choices were expected, while others pleasantly surprised us. One camp theme is back by popular demand — a first for Cadance, as it’s the first time we’ve repeated a theme three years in a row! Can you guess which camp it is? Another fan favorite, currently trending, will be a brand new camp - any guesses? And speaking of popular, musical theatre is making a splash again — can you guess which show our dancers are eager to explore?

We can’t wait to launch our summer camps and welcome many familiar faces. If you’ve never tried one before, there are plenty of reasons to join us. Our camps aren’t just about dancing — campers also craft, swim in the pool, practice yoga, connect with nature (especially picking berries), and enjoy time together in the gazebo and playground.

Besides being fun, dance camps offer great benefits: they improve physical fitness, coordination, and motor skills. Dance helps reduce stress, sparks creativity, and sharpens focus. Campers build friendships, teamwork abilities, confidence, and find new ways to express themselves. These camps also encourage emotional resilience, a sense of accomplishment, and mindfulness.
