Costume Measurement Week is complete! All dancers were measured in class for their June showcase costumes, and everything is now being finalized. If your dancer missed their measurement, no worries, please connect with their instructor during class to get them caught up.

Two Giant Nutcrackers Arrive at Cadance’s Nutcracker!

Cadance Academy’s Nutcracker production is excited to present two breathtaking, 12-foot-tall crochet Nutcrackers proudly displayed in our lobby for this year’s performances. These extraordinary creations were made by the skilled Crochet Crowd team, Michael Sellick, Daniel Zondervan, Kevin Price, and Karen Price, over three months of dedicated crafting.

Cadance Academy’s 4th Annual: A Chance To Dance Showcase!

Event Details

• Date: Saturday, April 18th, 2026

• Location: Al Whittle Theatre, Wolfville

Get ready to shine on stage at our sensational spring showcase – "A Chance To Dance"! This is your moment to sparkle, twirl, and show the world your dance magic. Feel the spotlight on you as you perform!

Important: All applicants must select and edit their own music and self-choreograph their solo, duet, or trio performance. This is your chance to express your unique style and creativity!

Who Can Join?

• Eligibility: Dancers ages 8+.

• Requirements: Must be enrolled in at least 1 yearlong class at Cadance Academy. If you're not enrolled, you can still participate with permission from our director.

Application Process

• Deadline: Applications must be submitted by January 16, 2026.

• Participation Fee: $25 per dancer, due upon receipt of your application.

DANCER SPOTLIGHT!

Ivy Bailey

Ivy from Pre-Primary Saturday Class is a wonderful young dancer! She has been working so hard this year, improving in all aspects of her dancing. She has a wonderful memory for dance terms and positions, and is always ready to demonstrate for her classmates. She always comes to class with a bright smile and a cheerful attitude. She never forgets to bring her best listening ears to class each week, and always uses a nice quiet hand to ask questions. Ivy is a wonderful student, and she sets a perfect example for the rest of her peers.
