RECAP: Nutcracker 2025

Our annual Nutcracker 2025 was a magical celebration of tradition, growth, and hard work, with our dancers lighting up the stage after months of dedication. From the first rehearsal to the final bow, this beloved performance continues to bring our community together, and we are so proud of our dancers and grateful to our families, instructors, and supporters who make it possible each year.

Rather than focusing on pressure or perfection, 2026 is about moving forward with clarity, balance, and joy.

2026 SESSION CLASSES

This fun 8-week session introduces young dancers to the world of ballet through stories, creative movement, and age-appropriate instruction. Designed for ages 3–5, First Steps Ballet builds coordination, imagination, and social skills while creating a strong foundation for a love of dance.

First Steps Ballet - 8-Week Session Class

A fun, high-energy class that blends dance, imaginative play, and a simple Gabby’s Dollhouse–themed craft each week. Designed for young children who love to move, create, and play with friends, this class builds coordination and confidence in a warm, supportive, and joy-filled environment.

Gabby's Dollhouse Inspired - Age 4-7 - 8-Week Session

Be One of the First 10 Dancers & Save $10!

This Frozen themed Class is for children aged 1 to 4 years, together with their parent or caregiver, are invited to join a joyful and engaging experience designed just for them. This class is filled with rhythmic play and gentle movement, perfectly crafted to introduce your little one to the exciting world of dance and music in a warm, safe, and nurturing environment.

Frozen Parent and Tot - 8-Week Session

K-Pop Demon Hunters Dance Party is a high-energy class inspired by K-Pop Demon Hunters, where dancers learn fun, age-appropriate K-pop choreography that builds rhythm, coordination, confidence, and performance skills. Classes are tailored by age group, welcoming both beginners and returning dancers in a supportive, upbeat environment.

Demon Hunter Dance Party - 8-Week Session

Be One of the First 10 Dancers & Save $15!

This joyful 8-week Daddy & Daughter/Son Dance Class invites guardians and young dancers to bond through movement and music. Families learn simple partnering steps in a fun, inclusive environment that encourages connection, confidence, and creativity. The session concludes with a special performance at our Spring Showcase, celebrating the memories made together. No class on March 20.

Daddy & Daughter/Son Dance Class - 8 Week Session Class & Showcase

A required ballet exam preparation class for students working toward the Grade 2 or Grade 3 CDTA ballet exam. This class focuses on syllabus work, strengthening technique, musicality, and building confidence for exam readiness.

Grade 2 & 3 CDTA 10 -Week Exam Prep Class

This class focuses on gentle stretching and strengthening using body weight, gravity, and simple props to support full-body movement. Students explore conditioning exercises, dynamic and static stretching, and learn techniques they can apply to their own warm-up and conditioning routines. Also available for drop-in.

Stretch and Strength - 6 Week Session Class

Rediscover the joy of ballet and build real technique in a supportive, stylish setting. This open-level class welcomes returning dancers and new students ages 14 and up, from those rekindling childhood training to beginners ready to try something graceful and strong.

Wicked Themed Adult Ballet 8-Week Session Class

A combination of high-energy music paired with a variety of engaging dance moves will help you stay fit and have fun. Every cell in your body will smile! Designed for all skill levels, modifications provided to ensure everyone can participate and enjoy the experience. Come join the dance party!

IMPORTANT STUDIO REMINDERS

As we head into the winter season, unpredictable weather may occasionally affect our class schedule. Please be sure to check our Facebook and Instagram pages for the most up-to-date announcements regarding weather-related closures or schedule changes.

Your safety is our top priority, so we encourage families to use their best judgment when deciding whether to travel to class during poor weather conditions.

If a class is cancelled due to weather, students are welcome to attend a makeup class at a similar level. Please notify the office in advance if you plan to attend a makeup class so we can accommodate you.

Please note that we build two snow days into our annual schedule. If more than two snow days occur, an additional makeup class will be scheduled.

Brooklyn Wilson

Brooklyn is from First Steps Ballet who always ready to do her best in class, she's always full of enthusiasm and a love for dance. Brooklyn always comes to class with her best listening ears on and always does a fabulous job following along each week. She has been working so hard, especially on staying tall in her pliés and getting into perfect 1st position feet each time!
