We would also like to extend our sincere gratitude to our examiner, Mrs. Barbara Dearborn, as well as Linda Jess, for your continued support and expertise. Mrs. Barbara shared how impressed she was with how well-prepared our dancers were for their exams, and how wonderful it was to see so many boys participating and thriving throughout the examination process. At Cadance, we’re excited to celebrate creativity this April with our Spring Showcase, in honour of International Dance Week and World Art Day.

Our students will take the stage to express their individuality through self-choreographed pieces or collaborations with our instructors. Dancers aged 3 and up performing in solos, duos, or trios—plus a special family dance that’s sure to be a heartwarming highlight.

Dress Rehearsal & Cadance Appreciation Day

Our dress rehearsal is an essential part of getting show-ready! This allows us to ensure costumes are performance-ready and gives our team time to make any necessary adjustments before the big day. It’s also a chance to rehearse full-group numbers with all participants.

A detailed schedule will be shared in the coming weeks.

Cadance Appreciation Day will also take place on the same day! Families are invited to join us for a fun-filled celebration with our Cadance community.

Tech Rehearsal
Saturday, June 13 | 12:00 PM
Tech rehearsal will be held at the performance venue the day before the recital. This is when dancers will practice on stage and rehearse the grand finale together.

Get ready for an out-of-this-world performance! This year’s recital will feature a Star Wars theme, bringing excitement and creativity to the stage.

A dynamic stretch and strength class designed to help dancers enhance their technique, but open to anyone looking to improve overall flexibility and mobility. This class combines elements of yoga, floor barre, and Pilates, all set to an energizing and fun playlist.

Easter Advisory

Class photos for New Minas students will take place during class time from May 4–10. Students should arrive in costume with hair done and light makeup. Rental costumes will be sent home the week before, and additional hairstyle instructions will be shared via email.
